You can now edit a video the same way you’d edit a document. Open any reply, click Edit, and the transcript becomes your editor: fix a word, delete a sentence, trim a long pause, and the video updates to match. No timeline, no scrubbing.

To edit a video:
  1. Open a reply and click Edit.
  2. Click any word to correct it. Captions and the transcript update instantly.
  3. Select a word or a sentence. Choose Hide to keep it in the video but out of the captions, or Cut to remove it from the video entirely.
  4. Long pauses show up as small grey pills in the text. Click one to trim it, or use Shorten all to tidy every pause in one go.
  5. Click Re-render video and your changes are baked into the video everywhere it’s shared or downloaded.

Chapters live in the transcript too. Rename one by clicking its title, add one from any word, or click Generate chapters to let AI section the video for you. Clicking a chapter jumps the video there.

A few things worth knowing:
  • Nothing is lost. Hidden and cut words stay visible with a strikethrough, and you can restore any of them, or everything, with one click.
  • Caption edits save as you type. Cuts and pauses wait until you click Re-render video, so you can keep working while it renders.
  • The Details tab has the summary, chapters, a copy-ready transcript, and downloads for the video, SRT and VTT.
If you’ve ever wished a respondent had skipped the “um” or stopped two sentences earlier, this is for you.
